Boettcher Mansion Wedding – Kelley & Kyle

Filed under: Uncategorized — encoreportraits @ 12:08 am

As we all know the weather these days has been very interesting; however on Kelley and Kyle’s wedding day, it was a wonderful day to get married!  The weather was just perfect in the morning, overcast and just the right temperature; a photographer’s dream!  After the ceremony we whisked them out for some fun in front of the camera; we had a great time.

The Boettcher Mansion is such a great place to photograph; but not only is it a great place for photography, the staff there is just wonderful!  I have had the opportunity to photograph many weddings there and every time I photograph there, I just love it; the people who you work with at the venue really make the difference!

As you can see the day was just perfect!  Enjoy…

Another Fun Day at the Park – The Adventures of Little Boys

A boy’s best friend is his mother.

“Boys will be boys” say most moms!  I know I am a mom of two boys and I love it!  There is soo much joy with boys; they love dirt, lots of water and most of all an adventure!

I had soo much fun just following around this little guy and playing with him, while photographing him. He is a two year that has soo much energy; oh to be a child again!  He was full of curiosity for the pond at the park we went to and had soo much joy to spread; his joy was soo contagious!

There is something to be said about a mom and a son, there is a bond that is immeasurable and unbelievable kind of like a daughter and father, just awesome. Anyway, I thought I would share some precious moments with you of this little guy.

Cherry Creek – A great place for engagement pictures!

Filed under: Uncategorized — encoreportraits @ 8:05 am

My clients Sarah and Chris decided that they would like to do their engagement session down in Cherry Creek; when they said that I thought, how interesting and different.  I have had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek and found that it was such a fun place and there were some great close spots, but what I didn’t realize was how many great spots there are within the streets of Cherry Creek.   We met at the Ink Coffee house, which is their favorite coffee place and I see why, they have fantastic coffee; I was just downtown the other day and tried one and it was great!  It didn’t matter which street we went down, there were always places screaming “awesome backdrop” for some great photography!

Anyway, we had a ton of fun; take a look at some of my favorites from the engagement session.  Thank you Sarah and Chris for a wonderful time!
