OH MY I have soo much to share and I haven’t even blogged for almost a year, the year has gone by way too fast. I ended my busy season with a couple that was amazing to work with, Katie and Nathan. When Katie contacted me she was in Germany with Nathan and we conversed via email and with the few emails we had together I knew I would love working with them. Katie is soft spoken, genuine and truly authentic and all around an amazing women. They were both stationed in Germany serving our country, THANK YOU, and they both together are such a great pair. Take a look at just a few images that show how much fun we had on their special day.
I met Lindsey several years ago at the Boettcher Mansion and she was planning her wedding. When we first met I just loved her; well about a week after first meeting I was hired to be her photogapher for her wedding and I was soo thrilled. Lindsey is the type of person that is soo authentic and genuine that she is soo easy to love!! Their wedding was out of this world fun and they had some great images to remember their day by in Grand Lake.
Well about 2 years ago Lindsey called me to tell me she was pregnant and wanted to get some materinty images taken and we did, SUPER fun! Little William was born about 1-1/2 years ago and he is just soo adorable. I have had the privlege of photographign over his short life and what a joy he is. Super smart little guy and just fun to follow around and capture. It is because clients like Lindsey and Matt that truly make my job fun and enjoyable. Take a look at some of my favorites!!!
It was just a little over a week ago when Haleigh, Josh and I went to Boulder to take their engagement photos and WOW you couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!!!! The fall colors on the CU campus were out of this world.
Haleigh and Josh are getting married this coming summer at the Arrowhead Golf Course, which I soo love. During their session I just got a glimpse of how much fun they are during their engagement session and I can only imagine how much fun we will have on their wedding day. They were willing to explore and do whatever which allows me to capture some great memories for them. Check out some of my favs. Haleigh and Josh I have two words for you YOU ROCK!!!!

I love Fall soo much and I truly LOVE photographing in the season of Fall because of all the amazing colors! What I can’t believe is that Fall is here and winter is not too far behind, where has this year gone?
Well I know that next year I have some pretty amazing clients and one of them is Sarah and Dan. They are getting married next summer and in Estes Park, just gorgeous. They met in Golden as they both attend school there and it holds special memories for them so what better place to take their engagement pictures. We went all over Golden and had a blast, they were both soo adventurous with water, hills etc, and soo incredibly photogenic. Take a look at just a few of my fav’s. You both rock!!! Can’t wait for the wedding!
This Labor Day weekend was amazing weather and I couldn’t have handpicked myself better clients than I have had this year. Rebecca and Brendan were not only super nice but super beautiful on the outside and soo easy to photograph!!! They had a big bridal party however they all were just a BLAST; soo nice, super easy to work with and super photogenic, what more could a photographer ask for?
Every time we photograph at Arrowhead I always get excited as the venue is truly breathtaking in soo many ways; the views, the grounds and the staff are truly amazing too! Thanks to you all for making our job soo much fun.
Enjoy some of our favs!!!
It was September 3 over Labor Day weekend when Belle and I had the honor of photographing Esther and Matt’s wedding day and it was nothing short of fun! The entire bridal party was a hoot and soo much fun to photograph, THANK YOU! We had never shot at Red Rocks Country Club and we are hoping to go back as it was soo gorgeous and the staff was outstanding!!!
Take a look at some of our fav’s. Thanks Esther and Matt!
This will officially be my first post here, but wanted to say quickly introduce myself and post some images from a wedding I recently photographed as the associate photographer for Encore Portraits.
As some of you may know, I’m Belle – Gail’s second shooter and associate shooter! You may remember me as the smiley sidekick to Gail during her weddings, but what some people don’t know is that I too am a main shooter! I have been photographing for over 9 years, and shooting weddings for just over a year. I am inspired by natural light, candid imagery, and a slightly rustic/vintage influence to my post processing.
Gail and I been working together since late last year and have been having a blast this wedding season. It’s honestly great being able to work alongside someone so friendly, fun, and talented, and I look forward to continuing our work together into the future. 🙂
Anyhow, earlier this year I sat down to discuss wedding details with wonderful parents of a beautiful daughter who was seeking a photographer for their August wedding at Arrowhead (one of my favorite wedding venues!). As time seems to move at the speed of light during wedding season, the next thing you know it’s August 6th and I’m heading down to Littleton to meet the bride and groom.
To say Noel was sweetheart is quite frankly, an understatement. She was not only beautiful, but an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you so much Pam, John, Noel, and Christopher for your hospitality and having me along to share one of the most pivotal days of your lives. It was an honor!
Now without further ado, PICTURES!!!
I just love to find secluded little places that no one really knows about that lends itself to great photography and that is exactly what Morrison Park is! This park has such diversity, just love it; it looks like we went to several different places but we actually stayed at the park the whole time.
This family happens to be one of my around the corner neighbors whom I have never had the privilege of working with until now and let me tell you they were fabulous. The girls were willing to climb trees (take a look at one of my favorites below) and just have a blast with me, which makes my job easier and soo much fun! This park lends itself to such great diversity, just love it; it looks like we went to several different places but we actually stayed at the park the whole time.
Anyway, thank Jeff, Suzanne and kiddos for making my job soo much fun!!!
Evergreen is such a beautiful city in the mountains; it is soo quaint and offers itself that small home town feel. Now the Evergreen Lake House is even more amazing as the Lodge overlooks the Lake and what a site and what a place for photography.
I met Wilma Jane and her daughter at the Boettcher Mansion bridal show and from the moment I met them I just thought they both were special people. They were both soo friendly and fun, just full of life. When it came to pictures Wilma Jane and David were game for loads of fun and that’s what we had, FUN. Take a peek at some of my fav’s. Many thanks to you Wilma Jane and David for being soo much AMAZING to photography!!!
I am soo behind on blogging that I am now playing catch up as I really want to blog something from each one of my weddings this season as all my clients are AWESOME!!! Denise and Andy were married in June and she was a hoot, soo much energy and incredibly fun to photograph. Andy he is hilarious and soo light hearted, you can’t help but love them both, just an amazing couple.
The day started with getting ready shots and then we headed to a nearby church in Highlands were they said their “i do’s”. After the ceremony we all headed to the wonderful Boettcher Mansion for the reception. I just LOVE taking pictures at the Boettcher Mansion as it is soo full of nature and beauty and there are soo many great spots for great photography so that is what we did we took advantage of the venue and got some great shots. Take a peek. Thanks Denise and Andy!!!
